HGTV Magazine opened the doors to a Greensboro family's kitchen, where cooking, dining and living share one open, sunlit space. Jess worked alongside the homeowners to shape their many ideas into a single confident story, held together by a disciplined palette of chartreuse, teal and white.

Across the spread you will find a coffered ceiling with chartreuse-painted insets, a staggered glass-tile backsplash, lantern pendants in neon green and brass, a generous island that became the heart of the house, and a banquette dining nook layered in playful pattern. It is proof that a kitchen can be both hard-working and full of joy.

In its Kitchen & Bath issue, Home Design & Decor Magazine toured a kitchen Jess designed for herself: a confident black kitchen where brushed gold sparkles like jewelry against deep cabinetry.

White subway tile runs all the way to the ceiling, soft robin's egg blue lacquered cabinets balance the drama, and a cozy banquette brings in blue-and-white pattern and a touch of whimsy. Formal and comfortable at once, it is classic, clean lines with a personality all its own.
