Both. The process is the same whether we design a single room or the entire home. It always begins with an in-depth design conversation, where we learn about your tastes and lifestyle and listen to your needs.
It means we handle every detail so you don’t have to. Our team guides you through every stage of the project, from the initial design concept to sourcing and fabrication of unique goods, to installation, to finishing touches. We wrap up with the exciting “grand reveal” of your newly designed space.

From the blueprint stageYes, it is our specialty. Jess has specialized in new construction for over 20 years, working with clients from the blueprint stage to create a space that feels like it’s always been yours.
She speaks the language of builders and architects, keeping timelines moving and on track by providing one point of contact for seamless communication throughout the build.
Yes. Our construction project design management covers new homes, remodels and additions. Since 1998, we’ve partnered with clients, realtors and builders, handling everything from blueprints to finishing touches and integrating seamlessly with your building team.
By teaming up with builders early in the process, we make building easier and more cost-effective for their clients. You gain access to exclusive resources and trade connections (furnishings and finishes not available to the general public), in-depth knowledge of building codes and spatial planning, and efficient project management that coordinates timelines with contractors and keeps selections within budget.

Furnishing Your Home
Direct from North CarolinaJessica Dauray Interiors is located in the heart of our nation’s furniture manufacturing region. Direct pricing cuts out the middleman, allowing you to buy straight from the manufacturer without the markup, and we pass those savings on to you.
We assess your design needs, determine a design plan, then host an on-site shopping trip to pre-selected furniture showrooms and/or the High Point International Furniture Market. If you’re traveling from out of state, we can recommend local accommodations and dining, and we’ll pick you up at the airport.
A shop-along is a day of personal shopping with the Jessica Dauray Interiors design team: you get the fun of a shopping trip, and we make sure you make the right buying decisions the first time around.
Shop-along rates start at $1,200 per five-hour day. In most cases, we can get nearly everything you need in one trip. We offer a limited number of appointments per month, so please contact us for a comprehensive rate quote and to check availability.
Our studio offers an eclectic assortment of elegant and luxurious fineries for the home, including numerous American-made collections, many produced right here in North Carolina.
We are stocking dealers for Hickory Chair, Woodbridge Furniture, Hickory White and Lillian August (all NC made), along with Visual Comfort, Currey & Co, Arteriors, Global Views, Bungalow 5, Century, Brown Jordan, Janus et Cie and more.
A lot happens on installation day: furnishings, lighting, accessories, window treatments and area rugs all come together. We select fabric for the window treatments and take care of the fabrication and, ultimately, the installation, with white-glove delivery: exceptional care in delivering and installing your design elements.

Greensboro, the coast & beyondJess splits her time between two offices: one in Greensboro, North Carolina, and another on the Carolina coast, serving the Wilmington, Carolina Beach and Southport areas. We work with clients throughout North Carolina and the tri-state New York area, and JDI’s projects include residences throughout the United States.
Yes, we excel at it. We can visit you, chat over Zoom and keep you updated throughout the process, and we give our long-distance clients the same time and attention as our local clients.
For our international clients, we offer comprehensive services, including the filling of containers and managing overseas logistics, so your design elements arrive safely and are installed seamlessly.
Yes. Our commercial interiors include law offices for Ward Black Law and Turning Point Litigation, each designed around the firm’s own identity, from logo-inspired details repeated throughout the space to conference rooms both formal and relaxed.
Yes, through Perfectly Set, our bespoke table-setting service. Whether you’re hosting an intimate dinner party or a grand celebration, Jess and her team will curate your tablescape with your vintage china and linens or pieces handpicked by Jess, collaborating with your caterer, personal chef or party planner, at home or off-site.
